Bush = history major
According to the Biography of President George W. Bush on the White House website, Bush "received a bachelor’s degree in history from Yale University in 1968." [my emphasis]. Interesting. I'd never heard what his degree was in.

I always thought he was a business major at Yale, but apparently I got that confused with his MBA from Harvard. Interesting stuff on that webpage. Mr. and Mrs. Bush and Cheney all have Master's degrees, and Mrs. Cheney even has a Ph.D.

Interesting.
I knew about Lynne Cheney's Ph.D. because I knew she was once in charge of the National Endowment for the Humanities. Here's a Nation piece on her from 2000:
